Courageous

Attention students and parents;
Don't miss this opportunity to see the powerful film "Courageous" with your entire family.
Manistee Assembly of God has purchased a special license to show this film, which is still
out in theatres across the country, and has not yet been released on DVD.
"Courageous" was produced by the creators of "Fireproof."

It will be shown on New Year's Eve, and on Friday evenings throughout January, at 7:30 p.m.,
at Manistee Assembly of God, 611 Merkey Rd., behind K-Mart.
Contact MAG to reserve your free tickets, (231) 723-4332, or manistee.ag@hotmail.com

Although rated PG13, MAG is requiring youth age 17 and under to attend with their parent(s).
Why? Because the purpose of this film is to strengthen families. It will especially inspire
men to courageously fulfill their God-given role as fathers.

Sledding Party

Our January youth group activity is a Sledding Party!
On Sunday, January 29, we’re going to Bryan and Tammy Marshall's home to enjoy sledding,
a bonfire, hot chocolate and smores! The hill is small, but the FUN will be BIG!
Bring your sleds and warm clothes! Invite a friend! Be at the church at 5:45 p.m.
for a ride to Bryan's house. We'll return to the church by 7:45 p.m.

Winter Whiteout Youth Retreat, Feb. 24-26

Winter retreat

Our February Youth Group activity is...
Winter Whiteout Youth Retreat, February 24-26 at Portage Lake Bible Camp in Onekama.
This year’s retreat theme is Lost and Found based on Luke 15. Speaking and leading in
worship will be the members of “The Least of These,” a Christian alternative rock band
from Judson University in Illinois. We really enjoyed them at last year’s winter retreat,
and at our Concert & Big Game Night in October! Listen to their music at The Least of These

Outdoor activities will include big games, snow tubing, broomball, gaga ball and a Polar Bear Dip!
Indoor activities will include climbing wall, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, game room,
carpetball, foosball, ping pong, box hockey, coffee shop, fireplace, and sauna.
Cost: If your registration with $30 deposit is received by February 5, the total cost is $90.
After February 5 the total cost increases to $105. Financial aid is available.
